No matter the season, I’m always bringing out my plaid shirts. So that is exactly what I decided to do when I layered this yellow plaid shirt with a short sleeved sweater on our day trip to Macau. Not only are plaid shirts super comfortable and casual for DAY (as seen with a vest, with riding boots and traveling), but they can be dressed up with pearls and a skirt for PLAY, worn to the beach or even off to the races, or paired with a pencil skirt for WORK. Because of its versatility, the Plaid Shirt is number 66 of MY ONE HUNDRED, but why stop with plaid shirts? I enjoy wearing plaid comfy vests, or plaid on the bottom as well (as seen with a turtleneck and blazer, with legwarmers, with booties, with tights and riding boots or styling my favorite holiday pants) or what about plaid all over in a dress – my favorite for the holidays! WOW! I really seem to love plaid, huh?! Hopefully some of my style posts have given you some plaid inspiration or at the very least showed you how versatile plaid can be!
