Spotted-Brooch

Adding a bit of sparkle and spice to your style, always adds some beauty, a bit of fun and sometimes even some drama.  That’s exactly how I feel about adding a piece of statement jewelry to your outfit, just like this brooch below.  Within the next few months, I’m going to style 5 MORE ways of how to wear a brooch.  Here’s just one simple way below and number 12 of My One Hundred, wearing a brooch as a lapel pin on your coat…perfect for winter time.

Travel-Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Keeping with the theme of the week, which seems to be our visit to the Pavilion Mall in Kuala Lumpur, I wanted to share some pictures of the mall’s Christmas decorations.  I have to say, in all the malls I have seen in the world (and I have seen a lot of them), this mall is by far one of the most decorated for this special time of year.  This is our second December in Kuala Lumpur and each year the decorations do not disappoint!

Designer Spotlight-Tory Burch

As the readers of Wrinkled Chiffon may already know, every Wednesday I like to do what I call a “Designer Spotlight” post highlighting one specific designer.  I style a piece from the designer’s collection in one of my WORK, DAY, PLAY styles and detail a little bit about each designer.  My “Designer Spotlight” posts began as a way for myself to learn more about fashion and various designers, along with introducing others to the many designers in the fashion world.  On Wrinkled Chiffon, I’ve featured over 25 different designers and boy, have I learned a lot along the way, beginning with my first Designer Spotlight post.  So continuing along, this week I’m excited to spotlight a little designer named Tory Burch.  Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, and actually attending high school where one of my closest girlfriends attended, Tory Burch and I are somewhat connected…I wish!  With her many fashion awards, amazing business sense, a philanthropic foundation, and her success and recognition in the fashion world, I’m excited to just own a piece of the Tory Burch collection!  So today, this is what I am highlighting…my Tory Burch black, patent-leather wallet.  Not only do I love it for it’s classic design and gorgeous material, but black, patent-leather always seems to put me in the Christmas mood!
