Designer Spotlight-Nine West

Nine West is one of my favorite shoe brands, so it’s interesting that I haven’t spotlighted Nine West until now.  But did you know that Nine West doesn’t just sell shoes?  The brand has expanded to include eyewear, scarves and wraps, hats, belts, legwear, clothing, accessories, jewelry, watches and handbags.  Founded in 1978 by Jerome Fisher and Vince Camuto (remember when I spotlighted Vince Camuto), the Nine West shoe business was one of the first companies to utilize the expertise in leather and shoemaking in Brazil.  Within a year, the duo had already sold over 1 million pairs of shoes!  Today, Nine West shops are located in over 800 international locations in 57 countries.  In 1999, Nine West was acquired by Jones Apparel Group, but the brand still holds the same Nine West name.

In today’s post, I’m spotlighting a pair of Nine West wedges.  As I was on the hunt for the best ankle botties, I have also been on the hunt for some cute mary janes.  When I came across these platform, wedged mary janes, I just couldn’t resist!  Not only are they super cute, but they are perfect for this upcoming fall season, especially in black suede.  Here are some other mary jane wedges that I came across while shopping online.  Maybe you can pick out your favorite!
