Travel-Honolulu, Hawaii

When visiting Hawaii, most likely you will travel through Honolulu…either on a stop-over or as a final destination.  Never visiting Hawaii before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but ended up loving Honolulu more than I thought.  Visiting this amazing city of Oahu was definitely a highlight of our trip!  The city itself reminded me a bit of Miami, Florida, but a lot less crazy and definitely more mountainous.  The beaches were beautiful, especially the famous Waikiki, the people were friendly and the food…amazing!  Here are some snapshots from our quick hop through Honolulu.

A unexpected surprise as we received a very “fun” rental car…unfortunately, the trunk was very small, hence the luggage as our backseat drivers.

Getting lost, we turned down a small neighborhood street and literally ran right into a filming of Hawaii Five-0.  Their prop cars looked just like the real police vehicles driving along the beach.  Love the “prop” sticker.

My new favorite way to eat a hot-dog!  Amazing!
