Ah, the pencil skirt…slipping one on adds the feeling of instant femininity and class to an everyday and conservative WORK style. Some of my favorite pencil skirts have been purchased at ZARA, but I also love J. CREW, Nordstrom, ASOS and Express for some beautiful, quality skirts. My pencil skirts aren’t only brought out for the office, however. I love pairing a pencil skirt with a silk blouse for date night or even with a slouchy sweater or cute t-shirt for a dressy brunch with the girls. A good pencil skirt is a favorite in my closet and therefore, number 65 of MY ONE HUNDRED.
With Easter this weekend and pastel colors on my mind, today I paired my blue pencil skirt with some other blues in my closet and one of my favorite things to do is wear a scarf as a belt. This pastel colored scarf felt perfect for this Spring season! Add some nude colored accessories and you’re ready to go…oh, and since we stopped at our neighborhood Chinese temple for these shots, I had to bring out my blue chopsticks to keep up my hair with this recent humidity, ha! Happy Friday and have a wonderful Easter weekend!
