Travel-Happy Valley Race Course, Hong Kong
Being from up north on the East Coast, when I think of Happy Valley, I think of Penn State University. However, after moving to Hong Kong, we realized that Happy Valley means a whole different thing to the Chinese and to the expats - it means Happy Valley Race Course! As posted here in what I wore, Happy Valley is nestled between the numerous skyscrapers of the city and when it's race night the sky is illuminated with its lights. Being my very first horse race, I was extremely excited and couldn't wait to catch a glimpse of the beautiful horses racing by...and when they did, the roar of the crowds was enough to get your heart beating. What an exciting night!

So cool how very just in the middle of the city it is! It gives it the feeling of being a type of oasis or something…
