Shake It Out

When we first arrived in Kuala Lumpur, we quickly realized that many of the T.V. shows we were accustomed to watching back home were not part of the Malaysian nightly lineup.  Slowly but surely, however, some of our American favorites have made it to the cable networks here in KL.  One such show I’ve been introduced to recently is “Smash”…I call it “Glee” for grown-ups.  Even if the story line is something you don’t enjoy, the music is definitely great to listen to in the background while doing laundry on the weekends or cleaning the house.  One of my favorite songs lately is this one…I just can’t seem to get it out of my head!  It’s an oldie, but has been redone by Katharine McPhee – the American Idol runner-up in season five.  Not only do I love the song’s melody but the words and the title have been helping me lately with my daily stresses…just “Shake It Out!”
