Travel-Kuala Lumpur goodbyes

Travel is about adventure, excitement and new experiences…whether it be experiencing different cultures or tasting new foods.  But my favorite part about travel and our adventures is the people we have met along our journey.  After moving to Kuala Lumpur, my husband and I were lucky enough to meet some wonderful new people, in particular one couple that has become two of our closets friends while living so far away from home.  Tonight, we said farewell to them, along with wishing them well on their new adventures in life.  Over a lovely dinner, great wine (and champagne), we reminisced about our time in KL, the things we will miss the most, the things we will miss the least and most importantly, how much we will miss each other.  It’s been such a lovely journey writing this blog and sharing my travel adventures with you, but I could not post tonight without sharing the reason that some of our travel experiences have been so memorable…because of the people we have shared them with.  So tonight, with a heavy heart and waterproof mascara, I wish Tracy and Jeff farewell and look forward to meeting up again on our next adventure in life.

This song is for you guys…We will always have Kuala Lumpur…

Hi Grace: I know it’s difficult to leave a place / people, but just make a point in your life to get together with your friends. I wish you and your husband the very Best in your future years. Also, I love reading your Wrinkled Chiffon articles each day, so please keep up the good work.
