Auld Lang Syne

After arriving safely back in Kuala Lumpur, my husband and I brought in the new year by watching fireworks in KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) park.  The display only lasted 8 minutes, but boy, were they amazing!  Luckily, we were able to get super close…so close in fact, that we could feel the BOOM of the fireworks in our chests!

Also, I wanted to share this video which always reminds me of New Years Eve.  Although the song has a bit of sadness to it, this time of year always reminds us to remember the good times of the past year and look forward to the promise of the year ahead.  After all, auld lang syne is loosely translated as “for (the sake of) old times”.  I hope you enjoy this song by Dan Fogelberg.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
