Designer Spotlight-WHBM

Happy Wednesday!  For today’s Designer Spotlight post I chose to feature the designs of the shop White House Black Market.  As written about previously in this post, sometimes my Designer Spotlights have not been highlighting an actual designer/person per say, but a brand and/or store!  So this is what I did today.  When I was younger, I actually felt intimidated to walk into WHBM fearing most of the clothes were either very expensive for my high school wages or too old for my taste.  However, one faithful day I entered a shop and started to fall in love with their light-weight camis and classic black and white colors, hence the name.  As the years have gone by, White House Black Market has expanded their color palette to include red items, blue items and most recently purple!  In today’s PLAY style, I’m featuring a WHBM light-weight jacket, perfect for the transition from summer to fall.  As you can tell, it’s definitely not black or white, but a bright, royal blue…one of my favorite colors!  Have a great day and if you haven’t hopped into a WHBM store to check out their new colors, make sure you do.
