Designer Spotlight-Jay Godfrey

For New Years Eve, my husband and I got all dolled up and went down to Changkat Bukit Bintang, a fun area here in Kuala Lumpur filled with great dining and swanky bars.  It was the perfect evening to style my new Jay Godfrey black and white silk dress.  Jay Godfrey, a New York-based designer, has grown tremendously in popularity since his days working a summer job at Hugo Boss and later interning for Oscar de la Renta.  Today, Jay Godfrey’s collection can be found in Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, Bloomingdales and Holt Renfrew, along with numerous luxury boutiques around the world.  Known for his dresses that “accentuate the female figure”, I felt fun and flirty in this little number to ring in 2012.
