For today’s Travel Thursday post instead of writing about a travel adventure I have taken, I wanted to post about a traveling man that came right here to KL…Matt Lauer! For yesterday’s taping of “The Today Show”, Matt Lauer was right here in Kuala Lumpur highlighting the city, along with the country of Malaysia, in the segment, “Where in the World is Matt?” What an exciting evening! With my sign in hand, I walked over to the KLCC park with a few girlfriends and waited outside in the sweltering heat and humidity for at least two hours to be a part of the taping. When Matt appeared, the crowd burst out in cheers and waved our American flags with excitement and pride! It was our own little Rockefeller Center. The Today Show was here, here in KL, and we got to be a part of it!
