Designer Spotlight-Ray-Ban
Listed as number 23 in My TOP 25 Wardrobe Essentials posted earlier this year, Ray-Ban sunglasses are a must-have style accessory. Founded in 1937, the American brand Ray-Ban was originally introduced for the US Army. The actual Ray-Ban sunglasses were created a year before the company was branded when an American test pilot, Lieutenant John A. Macready complained that the sun had damaged his eyes after returning from a balloon flight. He contacted the company Bausch & Lomb asking them to create a pair of sunglasses that not only would protect his eyes but would be stylish as well. The patent was taken out and the Aviator was born! Then in 1952, Ray-Ban created another style, the Wayfarer (the glasses I am styling today)! These were made with plastic frames and became instantly popular. Today, Ray-Ban is still one of the most popular brand of sunglasses in the world.

Love, love, love your shoes. Your watch is still my favorite piece of jewelry. Of course I do love your bigsize pearls that you wear frequently. You are just so awesome and I just love your style.
